Perform well. Enjoy it again.
Performance work for athletes, entrepreneurs, and professionals whose drive has started to cost them.
Performance Psychology
Who This Is For
Drew knows performance from the inside. He trains Brazilian jiu-jitsu, dances salsa and bachata, and snowboards.
- Athletes who used to love the sport and now mostly feel pressure.
- Entrepreneurs whose business has become their whole identity.
- Professionals who perform well and enjoy very little of it.
What We Work On
Pressure
Performing with nerves present instead of waiting for them to leave.
Setbacks
Treating a loss or a bad quarter as information, not a verdict.
Focus
Bringing attention back to the task when your mind runs ahead.
Enjoyment
Remembering why you started, and making room for it again.
Your worth does not depend on your output. Performance can matter without deciding who you are.
How Drew Works
Drew draws on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, Functional Analytic Psychotherapy and behavior analysis. Performance work uses the same tools: values, attention, and willingness to feel discomfort while doing something hard.
Falling down and getting back up is familiar from the mat and the mountain. The work is practical and specific to what you do.
What Can Shift
- Every result feels like a judgmentResults become feedback you can use
- Drive that runs on fearDrive connected to what you care about
- Performing well and feeling nothingRoom to enjoy the work again
