Good to everyone. Close to no one.
Therapy for adults who keep ending up the dependable friend and want real connection instead.
Relationship Issues
Who This Is For
You did everything right and still go home alone. This is individual therapy; Drew does not offer couples sessions.
- Adults who are everyone's reliable person and nobody's close one.
- People who approach dating like a second job.
- Anyone tired of keeping the mask on with the people who matter.
What We Work On
Dropping the mask
Noticing when you perform instead of show up, and trying a more honest version.
Stating intentions
Saying what you want without apologizing for wanting it.
Dating without the job
Letting curiosity replace the checklist and the scorecard.
Two-way friendship
Asking for something, not only offering it.
Being dependable is good. Being known is different, and you're allowed to want both.
How Drew Works
Drew draws on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, Functional Analytic Psychotherapy and behavior analysis. Functional Analytic Psychotherapy is especially useful here, because the therapy relationship itself becomes a place to practice being direct and real.
Sessions are individual only. The focus is on how you show up, not on fixing anyone else.
What Can Shift

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer couples therapy?
No. Relationship work here happens in individual sessions.
Is this dating coaching?
No. Therapy isn't a dating formula. It's practice in being honest and present with the people you meet.
What if I'm not in a relationship right now?
That's fine. Friendships, family and how you relate to yourself are all part of the work.
You don't need the right words yet. A first conversation is enough.
